Sooner Theater Encounter

Last year I was doing research on haunted areas around my home state, I contacted the Sooner Theater in Norman, Oklahoma to do an interview with them about haunted theaters.

The lady I spoke with was very helpful telling me stories about a young boy who haunted the back stage dressing room and a young lady that would trip you as you went up the stairs to the balcony.

As she was giving me the tour of the theater we looked into the up stairs office and the phone line lights started going crazy and flashing for no reason we also heard odd sounds coming from the rafters. That night when I came home and was listening to the tape of the interview you can clearly hear the voice of a young girl asking for her mommy. That was kind of strange since the lady I was interviewing and myself were the only people in the theater at the time.

I went back the next day to let her hear the tape and that was when she told me that one of her coworkers had claimed that while she was in the theater alone one afternoon she had past the balcony stairs and seen a young girl with long red hair standing there. She turnd to ask her what she was doing there and the girl vanished into thin air.
