Electrical phenomena and spirit

Ok I was going down to room, my room is in the basement. It's normally cilly down there but it was COLD that night. I turned my TV on and put the remot on the floor then all of a sudden my TV turned off then i reached down for the remote and just as i touched it it turned on again. then it turned off again so i sat there in the dark for a while then it came back on after about 4 mins but it was on a different channel! A channel that I never watch!!

So me getting scared I turned the TV off for good and turned the lights off.. then they came back on after i layed down..now me FREAKED OUY i went up stairs to sleep on the couch..when i got up there i heard my TV's volume gettting louder and louder and when I went downstairs to see what in the world was going on now my TV was off!!
We talked to the people that had lived in the house b4 us and they had said that they had seen a pale blonde haird girl in a white robe walking around the house and TV's and lights would just turn on at any given time!!
